With only one forfeit tonight due to health reasons the rinks were full which is always a delight to see.
Players are reminded that should they be a player short in their teams it is up to the team players to get a replacement or teams  play a player short with the remainder two players playing 3 bowls instead of two with the skipper only playing two bowls (playing a total of 8 bowls) which would be the same as their opposition.

We hope you had a lovely break and a Happy New Year to all.  Who would have thought after a 40 degrees day that it would end up a lovely night for bowls with temperatures down to the high twenties. Most teams ventured out with only one forfeit and a couple of teams short of players. Thanks to the spare players who filled in.

What a glorious night for a BBQ and a game. A wonderful way to finish the year off. We now have 3 weeks break while we enjoy Christmas and celebrate the beginning of the New Year. Please everyone stay safe and come back refreshed ready to enjoy some more bowls. If you are feeling like a snack or a meal or getting some work done while on holidays call in at a few of our sponsors. We must mention a special thanks to all our volunteers who each week come along and make it such a good successful competition. Once again THANK YOU ONE AND ALL.

With only a week to go before the Christmas break next week is the free BBQ with our famous homemade burgers and Beef Sausages, and of course a game of bowls, before we recommence on Wednesday January 7^th. Players enjoy the Christmas Break stay safe and we will hopefully see you in the New Year.

We had a forfeit tonight by one of the teams as they were going to a graduation at one of the schools and it was nice to have two of the opposition members filling in for another team.

Here we are tonight with full teams (120) bowlers enjoying playing and trying to get 3 touches in the game. (so they can receive a nice club pen).  It is nice to be able to play a full game tonight with almost perfect weather conditions a bit cold but fortunately no rain. As the season progresses the nights are getting longer and hopefully warmer.

Well our new players from last week were so impressed they not only came back but they have made up a new team from the players who turned up last week and have also joined up as night owl members. WELCOME and have named their team UNBOWLIEVABLES . The other new team to join us this year are the Good Guys who are playing under a new name.
