Night Bowls

Millicent Bowling Club Night Owls 26th November 2025

Here we are tonight with full teams (120) bowlers enjoying playing and trying to get 3 touches in the game. (so they can receive a nice club pen).  It is nice to be able to play a full game tonight with almost perfect weather conditions a bit cold but fortunately no rain. As the season progresses the nights are getting longer and hopefully warmer.

Winners in the Red Division : Somerset Legends (John Silis, Deb Butler, David Sharp, Geoff Lane) defeated Rovers 28+5, Somerset Seniors 27+5, Grand Hotel 27+1, Rotary 26+2, with Untouchables and Max’s Four having a draw on 16.
Winners in Blue Division: Here 4 Beer (Braydn Reilly, Trevor Reilly, Graham Reilly, Shane Reilly) defeated Miss Fitts 28+18, Sparkies 27+3, Acky’s Owls 26+6, Try Hards 25+2, The Pups and Lions having a draw  17+0, 15+0.
Winners in White Division: X FACTOR (Jean Smith, Derrick Lindh, John  Rivett, Mark Skeer) defeated Goobies 29+21, Half Cut 28+11, Newbery Newbies 28+10, Easy Beats 28+8, Lions Roar 28+6.

Well our new players from last week were so impressed they not only came back but they have made up a new team from the players who turned up last week and have also joined up as night owl members. WELCOME and have named their team UNBOWLIEVABLES . The other new team to join us this year are the Good Guys who are playing under a new name.

We are pleased tonight to welcome all our players both old and new. Tonight we welcomed Hal and Donna for their first time here and a special welcome to our town. We hope they have a nice time and will come again. All our teams were full tonight and  we even had 8 spare players who enjoyed a nice social game.
