Millicent Bowls Club 2-4-2 played 13/08/2026
With an excellent turn out for this time of year, 30 bowlers took to the green for Thursday 2-4-2.
The winners this week were Frank Cooper and Graham Attiwell with 31+13.
Runners up this week were Terry Lonergan and Barry Smith with 30+10.
Other winners this week were Peter Varcoe and Barb Leicester with 30+8, the triple of Neil Whelan, Joy Warren and Darryl Lowe with 29+13, Rod Gibbs and Jim Taylor with 29+6, Steve Carnellor and Scott Irvine with 28+2, and Peter Scanlon and Mick Parish with 27+1.

This week the weather didn’t go our way, but we had 26 bowlers take to the greens.

Runners up this week were Jim Taylor and Peter Varcoe with 29+4.

After last weeks 2-4-2 bowls was cancelled due to the wet weather, this week saw 32 players take to the greens in beautiful sunshine.
The winners this week were Peter Varcoe and Jan Buhlmann with 32+10. Runners up this week were Andre and Scott Irvine with 30+18.
Other winners this week were J. Madden and Terry Lonergan with 30+2, Steve Skeer and Gary Davis with 29+12, Ros Varcoe and Graham Atwell with 28+8, Aaron Emerson and J. Taylor with 28+3, and Neil Whelan and Barb Leister with 28+3. The final match was a draw with the teams of Max Wright and Joy Warren against John Buhlmann and Garth Baker both scoring 17 shots.
